Ingredients for fish fry

Fish pieces - 6 nos

Small shallots - 6

Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tbsp

Chettinad fish fry masala

Cumin seeds - 1tsp

Instruction for Fish fry

  • Wash the fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder.
  • Squeeze lemon juices into fish and keep aside.
  • In a pan, dry roast spices listed under chettinad fish fry masala and grind it.
  • In a mixie, add small shallots, ginger garlic and make paste .
  • Mix ginger garlic paste and chettinad fish fry masala and apply on fish pieces.
  • Allow to marinate fish pieces for 1 hour and shallow fry. To make crispy fish fry add 2 tbsp of rice flour to the masala items.
